Promote Device Inc operates promotedevice.com. This is the plain-English version of what happens to your information here. Privacy policies are usually where useful information goes to take a long nap. We tried to keep this one awake.

The short version
We collect information from one form, use Clicky for privacy-minded site measurement, and use Google Tag Manager as the switchboard for those measurement tags. We do not sell your personal information, run ad retargeting, or ask you to create an account.
The one form
When you contact us through the growth audit form, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- Name and work email.
- Company, website and phone number, if you provide them.
- Your company category and budget range.
- The message you send us.
The form also records the page you submitted from and campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, such as utm_source or utm_campaign. That helps us understand what brought you here instead of making us guess with the confidence of a bad spreadsheet.
Please do not include medical records, diagnoses, treatment details or other sensitive personal information in the message. This is a growth audit form, not a clinical intake desk. We do not need that information and do not ask for it.
Technical information
Our server may receive and retain ordinary technical information needed to run and protect the site, including your IP address, browser user agent, requested pages and timestamps. We hash the IP address before storing it with a lead so we can apply abuse controls without keeping a plain IP address in the lead record. Server logs may contain the original request details for security and troubleshooting, and are rotated on an operational schedule.
Clicky and Google Tag Manager
We use Clicky to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and broad browser, device and location information. Clicky says its privacy-friendly default uses anonymized IP addresses and no tracking cookies. We configure Clicky with that privacy-minded approach. See Clicky's privacy information for its current details and controls.
Google Tag Manager, or GTM, is a tag-management tool. It is the switchboard, not a second person hiding behind the curtains. GTM can provide Google with limited service diagnostics and tag-firing information. The tags we authorize are limited to site measurement. We do not use GTM for Google Ads remarketing, ad profiles or behavioral advertising, and we do not send your name, email address, phone number or message to analytics tools.
Google's own explanation of GTM data practices is available in its Data privacy and security documentation. Google may process information under its Privacy Policy.
Cookies and similar technology
Cookies are small browser notes. Most are less exciting than that sounds.
- The contact form uses a necessary security cookie to help prevent forged submissions. It does not contain your form answers.
- Clicky's privacy-friendly setup is designed to work without tracking cookies. If that setting changes, this policy will be updated.
- Google Tag Manager itself is a tag manager, not a cookie. A tag loaded through it could set a cookie, so we keep the container limited to the measurement tools described here.
- We do not use a newsletter cookie, advertising pixel, session replay tool or cross-site retargeting cookie.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking the form security cookie may prevent the form from submitting. Your browser may also offer controls for blocking analytics requests.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and decide whether there is a sensible fit.
- Follow up about the request you made.
- Understand which pages and channels are useful so we can improve the site.
- Prevent spam, abuse and security problems.
- Meet legal, accounting or operational obligations when required.
We do not use form information to make medical decisions, provide medical advice or build advertising audiences.
Who receives it
Promote Device Inc receives and handles form submissions. We use service providers for hosting, email or lead notifications when configured, Clicky for site analytics, and Google Tag Manager for tag management. Those providers receive only the information needed for their job. We do not sell personal information or trade it for favors, backlinks or a suspiciously large fruit basket.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the site and its users, or during a business transaction such as a merger or sale. If that ever happens, we will aim for the least dramatic version available.
Retention
We keep a form submission as long as needed to respond, follow up and maintain the business relationship, unless a longer period is required by law. We delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to ordinary backups and legal obligations.
Technical logs are rotated as part of normal operations. Clicky and Google retain data according to their own settings and policies. Their retention periods can change, so the linked provider policies are the current source for those details.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls and abuse protection. No website can promise perfect security. Anyone who does is probably also selling a course.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions. You can also ask us to stop following up about an inquiry.
Email [email protected] with your request. We may need to verify that the request is really from you before making changes. We will respond within a reasonable time required by applicable law.
If you are in a place with a data protection regulator and believe we have not handled your information properly, you may also contact that regulator. We would appreciate the chance to fix the issue first, because paperwork is not our preferred growth channel.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will review it.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site, the tools we use or the law changes. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading. We will not quietly turn a contact form into a data-harvesting theme park.
